Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2-3 years of recent Cath Lab experience, ARRT(R) or RCIS certification, and proficiency in both cardiac and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

Work in a cardiac catheterization lab specializing in both cardiac and vascular cases

Perform procedures including cardiac cath, PCI, Fistogram, vascular angiogram, PTA, and PPM implant

Patient population includes adults with cardiac and vascular needs

Equipment used includes IVUS, PFR, IFR, and Philips x-ray machines

Requires experience with scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring invasive cases

Charting is done with GE Mac Lab and Cerner systems (experience preferred)

Day shift schedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM

Call required : minimum of 7 days per month, including weekends and holidays

May float to Wayne Campus for midshift coverage

Duties include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring for all listed procedures

First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment

Scrubs are provided and must be changed daily; personal lead aprons permitted but not required

Nails must be clean, short, and free of distracting designs or artificial enhancements

Onsite parking is available for $50 per month; ID badge fee is $10

Travelers living within 50 miles of the facility will receive a $5 rate reduction

Requirements

Current ARRT(R) or RCIS certification required

State license required if applicable

BLS and ACLS required

2-3 years of current experience in a cardiac catheterization lab required

Cardiac cath lab and vascular procedure experience required

Must have experience with PPM implants and scrubbing for invasive vascular procedures

Neuro procedure experience preferred

Experience with GE Mac Lab and Cerner charting systems preferred
