A well-established organization is seeking a seasoned Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead its AP operations with precision, integrity, and a continuous improvement mindset. This is a full-time opportunity based in the Irving, TX area, with flexibility for hybrid work depending on project needs.

About the Role :

This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and has a proven track record of optimizing AP workflows, mentoring teams, and ensuring compliance with financial standards. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee daily operations, vendor management, and month-end close processes while driving accuracy and efficiency across the board.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise payment disbursements, check runs, and invoice processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Manage vendor onboarding, including W-9 validation, TIN matching, and master data maintenance.

Oversee 1099 reporting processes, including eligibility reviews, IRS test file submissions, and vendor distribution.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding payments through proactive communication.

Collaborate with business unit controllers to align AP priorities with operational needs.

Lead and mentor a regional AP team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.

Support system upgrades, automation initiatives, and process enhancements in partnership with AP leadership.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications :

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

Minimum 10 years of AP experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.

Experience in high-volume AP environments is essential.

Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft D365 preferred) and invoice automation tools (ExFlow a plus).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment :

The role is primarily based in a corporate shared services office with moderate noise and temperature levels. Flexibility for remote work may be available based on project demands and team coordination.

Pay Details : $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
