Surgery Scheduler - GI

IMS Care Center is currently searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Scheduler in our Gastrointestinal Clinic in Avondale. The Scheduler is responsible for answering procedure calls, scheduling all cardiac procedures, and confirming appointments. This position may also be responsible for verifying insurance, demographic and request prior authorizations.

• Answer patient telephone calls to completion
• Scheduling and rescheduling of all cardiac procedures including coordination with hospitals
• Verify and update patient demographics
• Verify eligibility for patients
• Request prior authorization
• Send Orders to hospitals and prep charts for in-office procedures
