Accounts Receivable Specialist

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage insurance and patient billing to ensure prompt payment

Contact patients and insurance carriers to research claims and follow up on past-due accounts

Document account activity and maintain workflow to minimize aging accounts

Required Qualifications :

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare claims processing or billing

Hands-on experience with insurance appeals and understanding of remittance advices

Familiarity with ICD-10, HCPCS, and medical terminology

Proficiency with billing software and payer portals
