Job descriptionHandle a broad range of general litigation matters, including commercial disputes, condominium matters, torts, municipal disputes, wrongful conviction, and construction. Take and defend depositions, draft dispositive motions, and appear in court regularly. Serve as lead or co-counsel in trials and hearings. Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and execute litigation strategy. Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team development. Competitive salary and benefits package. A dynamic and well-established Chicago-based law firm, with additional offices in Naperville, IL and Lake Geneva, WI, is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our growing team.
Our ideal candidate would have some trial experience or experience with sophisticated cases. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who wants to work as a lead attorney on interesting cases.
Qualifications :
- Skilled in managing complex litigation matters from initial pleading through resolution.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent client communication and case management abilities.
- Licensed in Illinois (Wisconsin license a plus).
