A dynamic and well-established Chicago-based law firm, with additional offices in Naperville, IL and Lake Geneva, WI, is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our growing team.

Our ideal candidate would have some trial experience or experience with sophisticated cases.  This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who wants to work as a lead attorney on interesting cases.

Qualifications :

  • Skilled in managing complex litigation matters from initial pleading through resolution.
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent client communication and case management abilities.
  • Licensed in Illinois (Wisconsin license a plus).

Responsibilities :

  • Handle a broad range of general litigation matters, including commercial disputes, condominium matters, torts, municipal disputes, wrongful conviction, and construction.
  • Take and defend depositions, draft dispositive motions, and appear in court regularly.
  • Serve as lead or co-counsel in trials and hearings.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and execute litigation strategy.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team development.
