AtkinsRealis seeks an energetic and highly motivated project manager to join our , Water Resources Group as a FEMA Lead Water Resources Engineer. We are flexible on where this role can be located - needs to be within a commutable distance to an Atkins office for hybrid work schedule.

How will you contribute to the team?
A strong candidate for this role will possess full competency in conventional water resources engineering work, bring a broad understanding of drainage and stormwater concepts and have proven leadership skills. This individual must be competent in the project management of FEMA, PTS, DOT and municipal projects, with an emphasis on drainage design, hydrologic / hydraulic analyses and design methods and techniques. The ideal candidate is able to manage multiple projects and multi-faceted design teams concurrently. Project work will include stormwater, roadway and utility design and complex hydrologic / hydraulic analysis and design projects. Successful candidates will provide technical oversight to junior staff and work collaboratively with other departments to complete projects in a timely manner. Occasionally, the candidate will also assist in preparing project proposals and creating and delivering presentations to existing and potential clients. Deep familiarity with CADD software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD and MicroStation and ORD is required. GIS experience associated with water resources and storm sewer analysis is preferable. Strong candidates are able to independently make sound engineering decisions, develop design plans, write design specifications and prepare technical reports.

Expected compensation range is between $97,000.00 - $161,000.00 annually OR $46.00 - $77.00 hourly depending on skills, experience and geographical location.
