Pet Groomer

Description

We are looking to hire a full-time groomer / pet stylist for our busy general practice. The is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced groomer to join our team!

Ideal Candidate :

• Excellent animal handling and professional customer service skills
• Strong knowledge of grooming techniques for all breeds of dogs and cats
• Ability to perform grooming services, including clipping, medicated and general cleansing, parasite control baths, pedicures, medicated dips and ear cleansing, as requested for each pet
• Ability to groom several dogs per day in a busy practice environment
• Maintain a proper grooming room, including but not limited to : cleaning cages, tubs and grooming tables; vacuuming and mopping the floor; cleaning clipper blades, scissors and brushes after use
• Recommend retail products that would aid in home grooming care of pets
