PC Technician (Active Secret Clearance)

Overview

PC Technician (Active Secret Clearance) On-site in Concord, MA. TEKsystems c / o Allegis Group is seeking a PC Technician to provide second-tier end-user support for PC, server, mainframe applications and hardware. This role will interact with network services, software systems engineering, and / or applications development to restore service or identify and correct core problems. The candidate may simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties and will escalate more complex issues to Senior Level as needed.

Location : Concord, MA (on-site). This position is fully on-site at Concord, MA.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-tier support to end-users for PC hardware, software, and peripherals, including printers.
• Install, configure, and test personal computers, printers, and related peripherals; load application software and operating systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software incidents, coordinate repairs, and resolve system problems; coordinate between users and network components.
• Simulate or recreate user problems to diagnose and resolve operating difficulties.
• Escalate complex issues to senior-level staff and recommend system modifications to reduce user problems.
• Maintain currency and a high level of technical skill in the field of expertise.

Pay and Benefits

Pay range : $25.00 - $35.00 per hour. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
