Lead Technician

Description

ABM Electrical Power Services is looking for a Hybrid Project Manager. The HPM is responsible for overseeing electrical testing maintenance and commissioning projects in accordance with NETA standards. This position requires a skilled professional with hands-on experience in electrical testing and a deep understanding of power systems. The Job Lead will coordinate with technicians and field engineers ensure safety compliance manage customer relationships and guarantee the completion of high-quality testing services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Management & Supervision :

Lead and supervise field service teams in conducting electrical testing preventive maintenance and commissioning of electrical equipment.

Perform and supervise testing of electrical equipment including transformers switchgear circuit breakers and protective relays in accordance with NETA standards.

Promote and enforce safety policies ensuring all team members follow industry best practices and site safety requirements.

Prepare detailed reports of testing results maintenance work and any recommendations for clients.

Mentor and train junior technicians in testing techniques equipment usage and safety procedures.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical testing with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

Strong knowledge of electrical testing equipment procedures and NETA standards.

Preferred Qualifications :

Job Type : Full-time Travel Requirement : Up to 50% depending on project location and schedule.
