Technician

As a technician, you will be responsible for building concert stages from start to finish. This role requires a hands-on approach and involves the use of power tools, hand tools, and blueprints to construct stages. You will be bending, twisting, and climbing to assemble these stages and should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs individually or 100 lbs as part of a team lift.

Responsibilities include :

• Installing flooring, fiberglass, and hydraulic systems.
• Performing wiring and electrical connections as needed.
• Installing hydraulics and integrating various sub-components.
• Reading and interpreting measuring instruments for precise assembly.
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Working independently and as part of a team in a shop environment.

Work environment :

You will work in a shop environment spread across three buildings, resembling a large garage with shop doors to accommodate the stages. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 : 30 am to 3 : 30 pm. It takes approximately 1-2 months to build one stage from start to finish.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Pittsburg, Kansas.

Pay and benefits :

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr.
