Oncology Nurse

A leading New York hospital is seeking compassionate and skilled

• Oncology Registered Nurses (RNs)
• for full-time contract roles across both
• Adult and Pediatric Oncology

As an Oncology RN, youll play a vital role in delivering chemotherapy, monitoring treatment responses, managing side effects, and providing emotional support to patients and families during every stage of care.

• Duties Include :
• Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients receiving chemotherapy, radiation, and surgical treatments
• Monitor patients for treatment reactions and coordinate with physicians for prompt interventions
• Manage IV infusions, central lines, and medication administration
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR systems
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management
• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and quality care standards
• Qualifications :
• Active
• New York State Registered Nurse (RN)
• license required
• Minimum
• 2 years of recent Oncology RN experience
• in a hospital setting
• Experience in
• Adult and / or Pediatric Oncology
• strongly preferred
• BLS and ACLS
• certifications required;
• ONS / ONCC
• certification preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient advocacy skills
