About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team in Neptune, NJ on a 13-week assignment. This role provides patient-centered care to adult oncology patients with a focus on leukemia & lymphoma in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be experienced, compassionate, and committed to delivering evidence-based care.
Responsibilities
Assess and evaluate patient conditions and collaborate with physiciansPlan, implement, and document individualized nursing careIdentify priorities for care based on patient needs and acuityInitiate assessments per patient needs and physician diagnosisPerform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient careAdvocate for evidence-based practice and support innovative care deliveryDocument care in accordance with clinical standards and prioritiesProvide patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standardsPerform other duties as assignedSchedule

Education
ASN requiredBSN preferredLicensure & Certifications
Valid NJ RN License or Compact LicenseBLS (AHA) requiredChemotherapy Certification (ONS) requiredTelemetry certification preferredExperience
Minimum 2 years of acute adult oncology (leukemia & lymphoma) inpatient experienceSkills & Attributes
