We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounting Manager who is ready for the next step in their career. This exciting opportunity will allow you to manage a team of dedicated accountants and finance professionals while overseeing our company's financial operations. You will be responsible for managing our ledger, developing an annual budget, and leading our accounting team. This is a permanent position that offers a chance to make a significant impact on our company's financial health and stability.
Responsibilities :
As our Accounting Manager, you will have a broad range of responsibilities that include but are not limited to :
1. Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to : accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Managing and supervising the accounting team, reviewing their work, and ensuring the accuracy of their output.
3. Coordinating the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
4. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
5. Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws and regulations across all jurisdictions.
6. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
7. Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
8. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
9. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications :
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications :
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of five years of accounting experience, with at least two years in a managerial role.
3. Proven experience in managing a ledger, creating an annual budget, and leading an accounting team.
4. Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations.
5. Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.)
6. Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.
7. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
8. Strong organizational and leadership skills.
9. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
10. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
