Infrastructure Cloud Architect

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and implementation of a secure, scalable hybrid cloud infrastructure. This contract role is critical to the departments transition from on-premise systems to a hybrid model using Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The architect will serve as a senior technical advisor and mentor, providing hands?on leadership, structured knowledge transfer, and expert?level support across cloud and on?prem environments.

Architecture & Strategic Planning

• Design and lead the implementation of hybrid cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, on?prem).
• Define integration strategies for legacy and cloud?native systems.
• Develop infrastructure standards, lifecycle strategies, and modernization roadmaps.
