Description :

Position / Specialty : PCU RN.

Shift : 3x12s, Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM.

Ratios : 1 : 4.

Weekend Requirement : Yes, every other weekend if needed.

On-call Requirement : No.

Floats Required : Yes, if necessary based on facility needs.

First-time Travelers : Not accepted.

Special Requirements : Epic experience is mandatory.

Open to Block Scheduling : Requires manager’s approval upon request, depending on unit needs.

Local Radius : 60 miles.

Local Candidates Accepted : Yes, on a case-by-case basis.

Daily staffing includes diverse interdisciplinary support.

Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.

The unit handles a range of patient diagnoses, including cardiac, pulmonary, neuro, GI, endocrine, surgical, and sepsis.

Telemetry monitoring is standard for all patients.

Post-operative care, wound management, and dialysis support are provided.

The unit maintains a collaborative environment with support from various care teams.

Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June to November.

All candidates must prepare to fulfill requirements prior to the proposed start date, ensuring compliance with necessary protocols.

Previous staff returning as travelers must have a gap of one year before reapplication.

Candidates with pending licenses must demonstrate proof of application or completion of the state process.
