Lead Accountant

A company is looking for a Lead Accountant to oversee accounting activities and lead a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Manage monthly and fiscal year-end accounting close activities to ensure compliance with GAAP

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and coordinate audit activities

Coach and mentor team members while serving as a subject matter expert for new initiatives

Required Qualifications

At least 7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience

Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial controls

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications
