Job description
A company is looking for an Assistant Controller.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the monthly and quarterly close process ensuring compliance with US GAAP
Prepare and review technical accounting memos on complex topics
Collaborate with external auditors and manage tax filing requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
10-15+ years of relevant experience, including 5-7 years in a Big 4 public accounting firm
Experience in venture-backed startups or pre-IPO companies
Deep technical expertise in US GAAP and SEC reporting standards
Hands-on experience with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
