Controller

Our client, a growing local construction company, has an immediate need for a controller. The controller will report directly to the CFO and will be primarily responsible for general ledger maintenance and producing financial statements.

Duties include :

• Accounts payable.
• AIA billing.
• Construction draws.
• Bank account reconciliation.
• Job costing.
• Month end and year end close.
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Candidates for the controller position should have a minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with some experience being in a construction company. A bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred but not required.
