Job description
Maintenance Assistant Opportunity at Avalon Village! Part-Time The Maintenance Assistant assists the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds ensuring a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for our residents, staff and the public. Skills Needed: · Physical Abilities: Stamina, strength and endurance to provide maintenance services. · Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents. · Teamwork: The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents. Requirements: · Demonstrates C.A.R.E.
values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.
Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence · Prior maintenance experience preferred - drywall, plumbing, painting. · Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful. · High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
