Scope of Position :
Reporting directly to the plant quality manager, this position promotes a culture of quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement throughout a high-tech plant environment that is a leader in the RF connector arena. Production environments include precision machining of optical array components, RF connector housing fabrication, plating, precision component fabrication, and precision assembly.
This position is responsible for effective application and development of the plant quality management systems (QMS) and associated improvement efforts through significant individual contributions and leadership of a team of QC inspectors and metrology personnel.

8AM-5PM typical over two shift operation. Schedule should be flexible to allow for occasional interaction across multiple shifts from 6AM to 11PM. Team works overtime one Saturday per month and as needed other weekends dependent on overtime levels. Some hours may be required during weekend.
Travel : Less than 10%
Education & Experience :
B.S. in Engineering or Science
5+ years quality, engineering or operations experience within a manufacturing environment Aerospace & Defense preferred. 3+ years of managerial or supervisory experience, with the ability to effectively coach, mentor, and lead direct reports, providing clear direction and establishing expectations.

The range for this position is $112,328.00 $154,451.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
