IT Manager | Coopersville, MI Salary Range: $98,000 - $145,000 depending on experience Are you a skilled professional with a passion for technology infrastructure and supporting business operations? The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Coopersville seeking experienced IT Managers. Key Responsibilities Manage and ensure the high availability and reliability of critical manufacturing systems (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA). Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, servers, and cybersecurity specific to operational technology (OT) and IT environments. Lead IT projects for technology upgrades, system integrations, and new software deployments to enhance production efficiency. Provide timely technical support and training to manufacturing personnel and office staff, resolving IT-related issues. Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans to safeguard data integrity and ensure business continuity. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify technology needs and implement solutions that support manufacturing goals and Industry 4.0 initiatives. Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement processes for hardware, software, and services. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, networks, and systems within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with manufacturing specific software (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA) and operational technology (OT). Demonstrated leadership in managing IT teams, projects, and vendor relationships to support production operations. Expertise in IT security principles and their application to protect industrial control systems (ICS) and manufacturing data. Ability to strategically align IT initiatives with manufacturing business objectives, focusing on efficiency and digital transformation. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on minimizing production downtime and ensuring system reliability. Bonus Qualifications Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS). Experience with common manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor). Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and digital transformation in manufacturing. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial environments.
