Maintenance Technician | Grand Haven, MI Salary Range: $51,000 - $83,000 depending on experience Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for keeping equipment running and minimizing downtime? The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Grand Haven seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians. Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. Execute corrective repairs on production machinery to minimize downtime. Install, calibrate, and test new or modified equipment and components. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately. Conduct predictive maintenance inspections and utilize diagnostic tools. Recommended Qualifications Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for diagnostics and programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens). Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Strong commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Technical degree, certificate, or apprenticeship in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Bonus Qualifications Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming. Welding and fabrication skills (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick). Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). HVAC or refrigeration system maintenance experience. Forklift or aerial lift certification.
