IT Manager | Muskegon, MI Salary Range: $99,000 - $146,000 depending on experience Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for technology infrastructure and supporting business operations? The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Muskegon seeking experienced IT Managers. Key Responsibilities Manage and ensure high availability and performance of IT infrastructure and operational technology (OT) systems on the plant floor. Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of critical manufacturing systems such as ERP, MES, and SCADA. Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols to protect production data, intellectual property, and OT environments. Lead IT strategic planning and digital transformation initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and innovation. Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services. Ensure IT systems and processes comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and data governance policies. Provide technical leadership and support for data collection, reporting, and analytics to optimize manufacturing processes. Recommended Qualifications Experience managing IT infrastructure and operations within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with manufacturing-specific IT systems, such as MES, ERP (e.g., SAP), SCADA, and IoT platforms. Demonstrated leadership in IT project management, team supervision, and budget oversight. Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance relevant to operational technology (OT) and IT. Ability to develop and execute IT strategies that support manufacturing efficiency and innovation. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) like SCADA, PLCs, or MES. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Proven experience in leading Industry 4.0 or digital transformation initiatives within a manufacturing setting. Understanding of IT/OT cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards relevant to manufacturing.
