Operations Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Specialist to support the fixed income trade settlement lifecycle. This junior-level role will involve daily trade processing, reconciliations, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Retrieve trade details from Bloomberg and confirm trades with clients and counterparties
• Monitor trade flow into the clearing system
• Allocate and track trades through settlement
• Investigate and resolve settlement breaks
• Reconcile internal accounts and holdings
• Assist with opening new accounts as needed
• Prepare monthly reports and support audits and compliance reviews
• Follow written procedures and ensure operational controls are met
• Support ad hoc operations tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 23 years of experience in trade operations or financial services
• Understanding of fixed income trade settlement processes
• Strong Excel and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, organized, and able to work independently
• Bachelor's degree required; Series 99 license preferred
