Maverick Currencies is hiring a Currency Trader based in Peoria, IL. This is a remote, performance-based opportunity — we fund qualified US traders with up to $400,000 in firm capital and split profits 60% to 90% depending on performance tier.
If you're trading from Peoria, your local clock does most of the scheduling work for you. Central time puts the London/New York overlap — the highest-volume window in forex — squarely in mid-morning local, which is one of the cleanest schedules the market offers. Building a sustainable trading routine is half the battle for funded traders, and Peoria's schedule supports that.
Illinois sits in Central time — Chicago, Aurora, Naperville, and Rockford traders work the same hours as the CME pit traders did historically. The London/New York overlap (the deepest liquidity window in forex) hits mid-morning local, which is as clean a trading schedule as the FX market offers.
Maverick Currencies operates on a performance-share model. Traders are paid a percentage of the profits they generate trading the firm's capital — 60% to 90% depending on tier. There is no base salary, no hourly rate, and no guaranteed income; your compensation is a function of your trading results.
