Job description
To support the modernization initiative of the Permanent Change of Station (PCS) Office, the full-time PCS Portal Specialist will manage relocation services for Department of State personnel, providing end-user support and guiding employees through the relocation process while collaborating with stakeholders in a telecommute-friendly environment. Key responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between customers and service providers, ensuring seamless communication and operational continuity Act as a customer advocate by delivering timely and accurate support, addressing inquiries within 24 hours Plan and deliver training sessions on PCS procedures and develop workflows and documentation as needed Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or certifications in logistics or supply chain preferred Foundational knowledge of passport and visa processes, and DOS Shipping Entitlements and Travel policies Working knowledge of Travel Authorization procedures and the ability to troubleshoot errors Ability to interpret policies and communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences Must obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass background and drug screening
