To enhance clinical documentation practices, the full-time Clinical Documentation Manager will perform concurrent and retrospective medical record reviews, educate providers on documentation accuracy, and collaborate with coding professionals, all within a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Communicate and educate providers on accurate clinical documentation practices Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve documentation issues and ensure accurate representation of patient care Review and audit medical records for correct coding and provide ongoing training to coding staff Required qualifications Minimum of 5 years of coder training and/or chart auditing experience Coding certification is required Associate or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field Extensive knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding guidelines Experience as a clinical nurse or Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist is preferred
