About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Sales for HBV and HDV. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's mission to create a healthier world, with a focus on leading the National Sales team in support of the Hepatitis B and D business. This role demands a dynamic individual with a proven track record of commercial success in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, particularly in the areas of new product launch and market development. The Executive Director will be responsible for defining and executing the national sales strategy, leading a high-performing organization, and fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and performance. Key competencies include results orientation, strategic orientation, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 14 years of experience, or a Master's/PhD with a minimum of 12 years of experience, in the pharmaceutical industry, with a preference for those with a background in rare or liver diseases. The role requires a leader with excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record in team leadership and talent development. The Executive Director will be accountable for operational and execution excellence, driving revenue, and ensuring compliance with commercial policies and regulations. Basic qualifications include a degree in a relevant field and a significant amount of experience, while preferred qualifications include a background in rare or liver diseases and a strong history of product launch and brand growth.
