Location: Austin, TX

Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours

About the Position

Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU

Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Care Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Job Summary

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with neonatal critical care experience to provide respiratory care for NICU patients in an acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will be skilled in neonatal respiratory management, ventilator support, and emergency airway care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapy experience.
  • Current certifications:
    • BLS (AHA)
    • ACLS (AHA)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • Experience caring for neonatal and pediatric patients.
  • Strong knowledge of neonatal ventilation and critical care respiratory management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent NICU, PICU, or ICU respiratory therapy experience.
  • Experience with neonatal ventilator management and critical care equipment.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
