Job Summary

Bloom Ads is growing, and were looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join our team on a contractor basis. This role will play a critical part in driving agency growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will lead outreach efforts, develop proposals, and cultivate strong relationships with prospective clients.

This is an independent contractor position and will be commission-based. Initial base pay may be offered for a limited time as part of an onboarding ramp-up.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with agency capabilities and growth goals.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to proposal development and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline through networking, outbound outreach, and participation in industry events.
• Collaborate with strategy, media, and creative teams to develop tailored solutions for client needs.
• Track industry trends and competitor activity to inform outreach and positioning strategies.
• Maintain accurate reporting of sales activity and performance metrics using CRM tools.
• Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

This is the pay range Bloom Ads reasonably expects for this contractor position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be commission-based, tied directly to the sales made. For some candidates, Bloom Ads may offer an initial base pay for a set onboarding period (e.g., 90 days or 6 months). Total compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, and revenue generated. Bloom Ads reserves the right to modify this range at any time.
