Data Analyst

Are you a detail-oriented analyst who loves solving data puzzles and making an impact?

Join our team to help drive the integration of the product catalog into our website by ensuring critical product, pricing, and visual data are accurate and ready for customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and break down large datasets into manageable subsets to drive informed business decisions.
  • Write custom SQL queries from scratch to extract, manage, and inspect product data.
  • Develop Python scripts to automate data workflows, validation, and processing tasks.
  • Review, structure, and verify incoming vendor Excel sheets for accuracy before uploading data into proprietary systems.
  • Validate product pricing, visual aids, and asset associations within internal systems prior to final site publication.
  • Run diagnostic checks, troubleshoot inaccurate data rules, and resolve inconsistencies (e.g., conflicting product attributes like glass door specifications).
  • Participate in weekly vendor meetings to discuss data quality, address discrepancies, and align on data standards.

This is a 12 + month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to direct hire. The role is working on-site four days per week and working from home one day per week.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 1 year of professional data analyst experience in a Data Analyst role (Internship experience welcome!)
  • Experience writing SQL queries from scratch.
  • Excel - advanced proficiency with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Exposure to Python for script creation and task automation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-team collaboration and vendor interaction.
  • High attention to detail and strong troubleshooting/analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
