Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join a leading electrical contractor specializing in exciting healthcare projects. This role demands a strong understanding of construction principles, keen analytical skills, and the ability to accurately assess project costs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough research and data analysis to develop comprehensive and competitive bids for electrical construction projects.
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to gather necessary information and ensure project scope alignment.
• Utilize advanced estimating software (such as Accubid or McCormick) to perform accurate takeoffs and cost calculations.
• Prepare and analyze bid documents, including plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Develop and present clear and concise proposals to clients, highlighting project scope, inclusions, exclusions, and pricing.
• Conduct site visits, attend pre-bid meetings, and participate in bid day reviews.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids, ensuring compliance with project requirements and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the estimating process.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, construction technologies, and regulatory changes.
