Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Convention Services Manager. In this role, you'll service assigned groups and special events, preparing both types for successful event execution. You will also work closely with event planners by planning the details of their agenda, room setup, and menu design.

Additionally, you'll handle bookings for one-day events, as well as prospect for certain social events. You will have the opportunity to optimize revenue goals by suggesting menu enhancements and other resort amenities that align with clients' needs.

As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Loveguiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll enhance the guest and associate experience by coordinating every detail of group events to ensure they run seamlessly, creating a smooth, stress-free environment for attendees and staff. You'll also serve as the central liaison between clients, resort departments, and vendors, to help deliver memorable events while supporting associates with clear communication and organized execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of group events from initial planning through on-site execution
• Communicate event details clearly to internal teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Manage client relationships by providing guidance, support, and timely updates
• Oversee event logistics such as room setups, audiovisual needs, and banquet requirements
• Resolve issues quickly to maintain a high-quality guest experience and smooth operations
