Spray Technician

The Spray Technician applies chemicals and fertilizers at maintenance properties and plant health care sites. Prepares and completes daily, weekly and monthly reports ensuring accuracy prior to submission. The Spray Technician frequently works in public right-of-ways, commercial sites, multi-family properties, resorts, retail centers and other locations as assigned. This associate is responsible for safe accurate application of both granular, liquid, flowable and injectable fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides and pesticides in adherence to the label and all local and state laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a high level of skill and safety in all phases of chemical application.
• Performs specific chemical application duties in accordance with company standards, and in conjunction with management staff.
• Completes related paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintains production and spray equipment in a clean and organized condition.
• Maintains all records and reports in accordance with Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
• Attends continuing education seminars and classes to remain knowledgeable of current industry practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
