LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Otolaryngology MD in Cincinnati, Ohio, 45237!

About The Position

📝 Description :

A well-respected Level I Trauma Center in Toledo, OH is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Otolaryngologist for locum tenens coverage, starting October 10, 2025, with the potential for a permanent transition. This is a high-priority opening requiring full 24-hour call coverage for ENT services.

📋 Job Responsibilities :

Provide ENT consults and emergency department call coverage.

Perform surgical procedures including tracheotomy.

Treat adult patients (18+) with ENT-related conditions such as chronic sinus infections, hearing loss, head and neck masses, and swallowing disorders.

Onsite presence required during daytime; offsite call coverage during nights (call-back may be required).

Function independently; no current ENT staff or support team.

⏰ Working Hours :

24-Hour On-Call Shifts – Daily

Onsite during the day; offsite at night with potential callback.

Includes weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities.

💡 Skills :

Proficiency in ENT procedures, especially tracheotomy.

Ability to work independently in a hospital-based, high-acuity setting.

Effective communication and clinical decision-making skills.

Experience with Epic EMR preferred.

Job Requirements

🎓 Qualifications :

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology (certification within 3 years if BE).

Active Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain).

DEA license – REQUIRED.

BLS and ACLS certifications – REQUIRED.
