WHAT YOU'LL BRING :
- 5+ years of experience in commercial or healthcare construction (majority of the time as an assistant superintendent or superintendent)
- Experience in establishing building layout and control
- Proficient in document change and RFI management
- Ability to maintain a high level of quality throughout
- Experience working in occupied buildings
- Strong leadership skills, ability to mentor and train others
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing needs
- Strong focus on conflict resolution
- OSHA 30-hour trained
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
Ensure safe practices are used in the execution of project workHelp train, mentor, and develop the skills of team membersAssist with the development and communication of the project plan to include the project schedule, site logistics, safety, and quality programsSchedule and conduct inspections with local authoritiesSupervise installations in conjunction with construction documents, including but not limited to coordination drawings, shop drawings, specifications, submittals, RFI’s, etc.Maintain a safe, secure, clean, and organized job siteEnsure and review quality of weekly project safety checklistEnsure all team members are participating and running daily safety huddlesConduct and supervise project meetingsEnsure completion of Standards of Excellence quality checklists at appropriate timesSupervise the completion of quality control / punch list issues throughout the projectProvides schedule updates and / or comments to owner / design teamCoordinate the work of multiple subcontractors and lead subcontractor coordination meetings regularlyCreate and review completion and accuracy of construction daily reportsConduct planning and maintenance of shutdowns and tie-insMaintain daily reports using 360 FieldAssist in resolving construction issues to maintain the productivity of subcontractorsThe above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
