Utility Porter Banquet Stewards

As Utility Worker your role will include :

Job Responsibilities :

• The Utility Porter is responsible for cleaning equipment and work areas including freezers walk-ins and high exposed areas such as ceilings hoods and fans maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards and occasionally assisting Banquet Operating departments as a Kitchen Worker as well as performing all other duties as determined by Director of Catering or Stewarding Management.
• Responsible to clean all cooking devices such as deep fryers grills stoves broilers burners tops steamer oven kettle-braiser and hood panels.
• Clean dishwasher machine and check temperature of the final rinse.
• Utilize proper techniques for health and safety standards.
• Utility Porter receives the equipment pull sheets 48 hours in advance from Banquet services before equipment is gather; the Master pantry is the central location where the hollowware and silverware is cleaned sanitized and stored.
• The designated set-up employee reviews the pull sheets then gather the equipment to ensure Banquet services receives the correct requested china glass and silver is put on a Queen Mary for viewing to be sign off by Stewarding and Banquet services.
• Utility porter has to be ready to execute inventory in approximately 250 items at their respective location.
• Inventory knowledge about sending and receiving packing repair items with office services; also will be receiving and returning inventory items from and to the warehouse.
• Employee will have the ability to oversee about $3000000.00 and 70% of the inventory orders.
• Utility Porter is part of the response team for biohazard clean up OSHA regulations.
