Schedule : 3x12s – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM; holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs

Position Overview :

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role is responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging in a Level 1 trauma center, ensuring patient safety, and delivering compassionate care during overnight weekend shifts.

Responsibilities :

Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to scans, adhering strictly to department policy.

Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging and assist in clinical decision-making.

Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to help them feel comfortable.

Insert IVs when necessary for tests.

Position patients safely, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility, following safe patient handling protocols.

Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC, including identifying images and ensuring proper transfer to PACS.

Keep the scanning facility clean, safe, and well-organized.

Requirements :

Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.

ARRT Certification.

NYS CT Licensure (must obtain prior to start).

Minimum 2 years of CT experience , preferably in a Level 1 trauma center.

BLS – American Heart Association ONLY

Preferred :

Injection certification (Philips Red), willing to complete during orientation.

Knowledge of Philips and Siemens CT equipment.
