Current Need : We are currently hiring a Transportation Supervisor to oversee 6 Delivery Professionals out of our Chesapeake, VA Cross Dock. The position will work in unison with our distribution center's Transportation Manager. Candidates must be flexible with their hours and be on call for any overnight line haul issues.

Key Responsibilities Include :

• Daily routing of deliveries
• Loading of truck shipments
• Dock security and cleanliness
• Fleet maintenance and readiness
• Scheduling management
• DOT requirements
• Assisting sales & customer service
• Training of fleet drivers
• Travel to cross-dock locations
• Driver ride along
• Performance management of direct reports

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position $53,800 - $89,600
