Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Support inspections for incoming and in-process components and the maintenance of the associated records.
- Support Production in Blueprinting parts.
- Utilization of gaging, tools and measuring equipment required for inspection support
- Support of Nonconforming Parts and disposition.
- Support in RCA of parts by Part measurement and investigation.
- Support in PPAP Approval process.
- Responsible for KPI update for incoming inspection, PPAP and proto parts.
- Responsible for Part measurement programs on different Lab Gages.
- Compliance to all Danfoss policies, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals, and environmental well-being.
- Protects customers from escaped quality issues by management of containment, sorting, corrective action and blocking of suspected parts.
Background & Skills
Required (basic) qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or one year certificate from college or technical school preferred.Two (2) to three (3) years related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledge of handheld inspection tools, micrometers, calipers, thread gages, Height Gage, Talyround, MicroVU, CMM.Basic understanding of engineering drawings including basic GD&TComputer skills, specifically Microsoft OfficeAdditional Requirements and Skills :
