Your Role

As a Tax Associate , you will be responsible for critical tax functions, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and statutory accounting principles while driving process improvements. Key responsibilities include :

• Preparing tax provisions under U.S. GAAP and NAIC Statutory Accounting Principles.
• Reviewing tax compliance returns prepared by external CPA firms and tracking compliance schedules.
• Preparing quarterly / yearly federal excise tax returns and estimated tax payments.
• Assisting in documentation of tax positions across GAAP, STAT, and tax regulations.
• Coordinating with finance and accounting teams to prepare tax provisions.
• Managing relationships with external advisors and responding to tax authority inquiries.
