Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Pediatrics Patient Volume / Census : 1520 patients / day Rounding : Included Case Mix : Tonsillectomy, adenoids, tubes, frenulectomy, abscess drainage, myringoplasty, laryngoscopy Trauma Level : Level I EMR System : Epic Specialty Backup Available : Pediatric ENT team (2 surgeons, 2 PAs) Reason for Coverage : New position / PTO support Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : Yes Credentialing Timeline : ~90 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Licenses : Active Illinois license (will accept candidates needing to obtain one) Board : BC / BE in Otolaryngology (Pediatric focus preferred) DEA : Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS Experience : Minimum 1 year NOTES Providers perform clinic / OR work while simultaneously covering call. Call responsibilities extend into evening hours.
