Responsibilities

• Majority of the time spent using independent judgment in making employment-related and business decisions, or effectively recommending such decisions, including product & department strategies, hiring, promoting, disciplining, suspending, discharging, rewarding, and handling partner-related matters.
• Responsible for multiple departments, including merchandising, product mix, product costs, and supervising partners via department managers.
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and company regulations for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation.
• Supervises daily management of non-perishable, perishable, and food service departments and merchandising via department managers.
• Maintains vendor relations and communicates Central Market expectations.
• Conducts employment interviews, performance appraisals, and partner feedback.
• Trains and develops partners.
• Delivers exceptional customer service.
