About the Role :
Orthopedic Center of Illinois is seeking a PTA to join our Therapy Department at our Chatham Location.
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Your primary responsibility will be to assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans that promote mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function. You will work closely with patients in an outpatient setting, providing hands-on support and encouragement throughout their recovery journey. This position requires a compassionate approach, as you will be interacting with individuals who may be experiencing physical and emotional challenges. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of life for patients and helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

The required skills for this position, such as knowledge of physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation practices, will be utilized daily as you assist in patient treatments. Eye-hand coordination will be critical when performing manual therapy techniques and guiding patients through exercises. Salary dependent upon experience ranging from $21.00 / hr to $31.00 / hr.
