Field Technician
We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Field Service Technician. This hands-on role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing specialized laboratory and medical devices at customer locations nationwide. Industry-specific equipment training is provided — if you have strong mechanical / electrical repair skills and enjoy solving problems, working independently, and traveling, this is an exceptional long-term career opportunity with rapid growth potential.
What You’ll Do
- Travel to customer sites to install, service, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory / medical equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Clean, refurbish, and paint equipment as needed
- Train end-users on equipment operation and maintenance procedures
- Complete detailed service reports and documentation via ERP system
- Provide high-level customer service and communication at all times
- Support warehouse and company operations when not traveling
- Participate in paid 3-month training program to master specialized equipment
- Occasionally respond to after-hours or emergency service needs
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in a technical, repair, or field service roleIdeal backgrounds : HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, automotive, mechanical repair, biomedical tech, instrumentationStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilityAbility to read and interpret electrical & mechanical schematicsExcellent communication, patience, and customer-facing professionalismStrong organization and documentation skillsComfortable with computer systems (ERP experience a plus)Ability to travel 3–5 days per week (overnight) — paid travel timeEnjoys problem-solving, continuous learning, and working independentlySelf-motivated — uses travel time productively (documentation / training)No degree required — hands-on technical experience is valued most.Training & Industry
