Professional Staff Nurse (RN) - Resource Pool - Extra 10% Differential

UPMC St. Margaret Hospital is a 4 Time Magnet ANCC Designated Hospital located in Aspinwall Pa. We are currently hiring a Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse to join our Resource Pool. This position will have an additional 10% Resource Pool Differential on top of base rate.

This position will complete orientation and rotate primarily on the following units : 4A, 3B, 5A, 5B, 6B, ICU, ED and nursing support services.

Requirements include all of Resource Pool RN requirements, BAC and ACLS.

Support Services : This includes any role that may support the Nursing need at UPMC St. Margaret including but not limited to Team nursing assignment. Resource Pool Nurses will be utilized to open flex and surge areas at times of high census.

The Professional Staff Nurse provides highly competent patient care and treatment while demonstrating empathy and a passion for learning. Shift / Hours : Our RNs work a rotating 12-hour schedule to ensure 24 / 7 coverage on the floor.

Responsibilities :

Qualifications :

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances :

UPMC approved national certification preferred. Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

ACLS required within 1 year transfer / hire into department.
