THE ROLEAt California Skin Institute, pathologists provide patients with expert interpretation of biopsies. Our Department of Pathology, located in our San Jose/Los Gatos office, is the most advanced full-service pathology lab in a private dermatology practice in the Bay Area. Staffed by board-certified skin pathologists, certified histotechnicians, and an experienced histology staff, we offer interpretation results in a matter of days. All of our biopsies and excisions are interpreted in-house by our pathologists in order to provide a more accurate diagnosis.
