General Purpose :
The primary purpose of this position is to help participants achieve and maintain stable housing, including in areas of opportunity. This position will also build and maintain strong community and business relationships with Property Owners / Landlords that provide quality-housing opportunities to Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) participants. Through building relationships and coordination, this position will be able to advocate successfully for housing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Create marketing materials for landlord recruitment, community resources and opportunity areas

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications :
Bachelor's Degree preferred and a minimum of two years' experience working in an affordable housing program or related area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Must have a valid Ohio driver's license and be insurable by AMHA.
Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be competent in the usage of e-mail, internet, spreadsheet and word processing software. Employee must be capable of using common office equipment such as copiers, fax machines and scanners. Must be able to learn other computer software programs as required by assigned tasks.
Physical Requirements : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job :
Physical demands may include kneeling, reaching, pushing, fingering, manipulating, talking, hearing, sitting for extended periods, crouching, standing for extended periods, stooping, walking, lifting up to 10 lbs. and repetitive motion using a keyboard, telephone and calculator. The visual acuity requirements include viewing a computer monitor and extensive reading.
