Overview

Early Career Program : Field Engineering

Our Early Career Program for Field Engineers guides recent graduates through career-shaping experiences. The program takes approximately 36 months to complete and involves helping clients locate and produce energy more efficiently. Program graduates gain foundations to make innovative contributions to our future.

Program Experience

Join our team of Field Engineers. You will be the key interface between on-site teams and the client, working technically and professionally. You may have opportunities to lead crews to ensure that equipment is installed, maintained, and started properly and that jobsite services exceed customer expectations. You will help create reliable, high-quality support for our customers as part of our Early Career program.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with crew members to deploy tools and services, including liaison with customers and shore-based Operations Managers
  • Participate in solving complex technical problems through hands-on work at the work site
  • Prepare, document, and receive outbound and inbound equipment and products, including those to and from the work site
  • Provide support for tenders, including data analysis and cost estimates, as well as performing invoicing activities
  • Engage in job shadowing opportunities to develop a holistic understanding of the business

Qualifications

  • Have graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (all fields), Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences, or similar, within the last 36 months
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or temporary resident, and will not require employment sponsorship now or in the future
  • Good interpersonal skills with aptitude for teamwork and ability to guide others
  • Demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, numerical skills, data analysis, and project management abilities

    Compensation and Benefits

    Hourly rate for this position is $22.50 USD. The annualized minimum earnings for regular and overtime pay are at least $90,675. You will be eligible to participate in company-sponsored benefit programs, including health and welfare programs and the Thrift Plan (401k). Benefit coverage options and employer contributions depend on plan elections and base salary.

    This position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and additional forms of compensation such as bonuses, subject to plan terms.
